Title: Ghostly Cookies

1 Roll refrigerated sugar
  Cookie dough
  Lollipop sticks ( optional )
  Orange food coloring
  For decorations;
  Orange sugar crystals
1 Tube brown decorating gel
1 Tube orange " "

Heat oven to 350 . Sprinkle half roll of well-chilled dough with flour. ( Refrigerate remaining dough until needed .) Roll out dough to about 1/4"" thickness between two pieces of waxed paper, using additional flour as needed. With 4" ghost-shaped cookie cutters, cut dough into ghosts. With spatula, transfer cookies to ungreased baking sheets. Place lollipop stick if desired, under each cookie, leaving about 2 " protruding from bottom of cookie. Press dough lightly into lollipop stick. Repeat with remaining dough,rerolling scraps to make additional cookies. NOTE; I AM QUESSING AT THE NUMBER OF COOKIES THIS WILL MAKE, MY HANDWRITTEN RECIPE DOESN'T LIST THE NUMBER. Bake 6-7 minutes until golden brown. Transfer cookies to wire racks and cool completely. Add a few drops of food coloring to about half of vanilla frosting, stirring until frosting is orange. Spread about half the cookies with vanilla frosting, leaving some of the cookies plain and dipping others into orange sugar crystals. Outline cookies with brown or orange decorating gel. Draw a face and the word " Boo " on each cookie. Lollipop sticks can be found at party and craft stores. Formatted for MM by Jeannie Allen
